Welcome to Blue Cottons, a charity dedicated to bringing warmth and dignity to those in need across India. We collect gently used Indian clothing and distribute it to homeless individuals, impoverished families, and orphanages. Our mission is simple: to provide comfortable and culturally appropriate attire, offering a sense of normalcy and confidence to those facing hardship. We select, clean, and ship them to India to the charities

Project Blue Cottons was created when we realized that our parents buy us clothes for special occasions in US, and then as we grow these clothes become unusable for us. In the US, we can't give them to Goodwill and other donation locations because Americans have no use for them. So, we decided to not let them gather dust in our closets, and make good use of them by giving them to those who need it most.

Once you donate your pre-loved Indian clothes, they embark on a meaningful journey. After collection, our dedicated helpers in India carefully sort through each item. They then personally distribute these clothes directly to individuals in slum communities and to children in orphanages.
